Privacy

Privacy.

Most of Filey runs in your browser. Audio and video go through a server to convert, then come back. Nothing is kept.

What happens to your files

Images and text files are converted entirely in your browser. They never leave your device and never touch a server.

Audio and video files are sent to a conversion server to be processed, then sent back to you. They are not stored, logged, or retained in any form after the conversion is complete.

What Filey doesn't collect

  • The files you convert.
  • Your name, email, or any personal information.
  • Account data. There are no accounts.
  • Payment information. Filey is currently free.

Analytics and tracking

Filey does not use tracking pixels, ad networks, or behavioral analytics. If basic anonymous usage stats are ever added, this page will say so plainly.

Third-party services

Filey is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs such as IP addresses and request timestamps as part of normal infrastructure operation. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

Audio and video conversion runs on a separate server. No file data is retained after the request completes.

Changes

If anything material changes about how Filey handles data, this page will be updated. The date at the bottom reflects the last revision.
